Brangelina not breaking up

Whispers of a Jolie-Pitt split; plus, size matters on '90210'; Eva Mendes slams sex confession; K-Fed vs. hardworking Paris; and more ...
It would have been the ultimate tabloid irony: After countless stories predicting doom for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, they break up during a week in which their supposed relationship issues aren't featured on a single glossy cover.
On Thursday, spurious reports began flying that the most famous/fabulous/fertile flames on the planet had -- say it ain't so! -- called it quits.
The speculation was apparently kick-started by the recent dearth of sightings of the knee-deep-in-dirty-diapers duo out and about together.
But before anyone even had a chance to cry to the heavens, "But what will become of poor little Maddox, and Pax, and Zahara, and Shiloh, and 2-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox?" the rift rumblings were summarily shot down.
Angelina's rep assures "Entertainment Tonight" that the Jolie-Pitts remain domestically blissed out, dismissing the split talk as "absolutely not true."
Need further convincing?
Us says the entire clan chowed down together Thursday morning, enjoying a "big breakfast" al fresco at their $70 million French chateau, where they've been holed up since the spring.
(By the way, the chateau is the setting for one of the only tabloid tales this week, with Star dubbing it a "pigpen castle" and a source saying, "It's actually pretty disgusting. Every room looks like a war zone.") While Jolie has remained out of sight in recent weeks, Pitt has been jumping time zones to promote "Burn After Reading," hitting both the Venice Film Festival (with Maddox, 7, and Pax, 4, in tow) and the Toronto Film Festival.
"Everyone is healthy," he said in Toronto (via People). "No sleep though ... Sleep is something you long for, but it's all right. We'll get it."
When a reporter asked whether he and Jolie had any plans to work together again, the actor responded, "Angie and I are working together every day, I guarantee you."
Jolie will be back in the spotlight later this month as she begins stumping for "The Changeling," the Clint Eastwood-directed drama that's already earning her Oscar buzz.
Her stylist recently told People that she "feels some pressure" to find the actress just the right outfit for the film's Oct. 4 premiere, which will mark her first time on the red carpet since delivering the double bundles.
In between taking care of his brood and maintaining his spot at the top of the A-list, Pitt has been busy doing that do-gooder thing he and Jolie do so well -- and infecting unsuspecting fans in the process.
On Wednesday, he donated $100,000 to help defeat an initiative that would ban same-sex marriages in California, a contribution that came just a few days after he and Angelina gave $2 million to the Global Health Committee to fund a children's clinic in Ethiopia that will be named after Zahara.
Meanwhile, virus-fighting software company McAfee announced this week that Brad has beaten out Paris Hilton to become the most dangerous celebrity to search for online, courtesy of a pop culture-savvy cybercriminal element that wants to hit you with spam, spyware, viruses and other assorted computer plagues when you search for a pie-cute pictures of the Brangie bunch.

lindsay lohan confesses she's seeing samantha ronson

LiLo confirms cuddle-bunnies with Sam; plus, are Miley and Billy Ray in need of an attitude adjustment, and are Drew and Kirsten avoiding each other?
In recent months, Lindsay Lohan has grown more and more comfortable expressing her obvious affection for Samantha Ronson, from caught-on-camera lip-on-lip action to schmoopy MySpace messages to the flashing of a heart-shaped ring on her all-important finger.
But the starlet, 22, has sidestepped media questions about her relationship status with her joined-at-the-hip DJ inamorata, 31, choosing instead to offer some variation of what she said in a recent sit-down with Marie Claire: "Um, people can think what they want. I'm really happy, and that's all that matters."
But during a chat Monday night with the syndicated radio show "Loveline," Lindsay casually confirmed what everyone already knew, a move that came just ahead of Clay Aiken's similarly duh-inspiring announcement on the cover of this week's People. The call began with Ronson talking about the plane crash involving Travis Barker and DJ AM, but the conversation took a turn when she handed the phone over to Lohan, who pointed out how the accident made her realize how important it is to "treasure each moment."
That provided an opening for show co-host Stryker, who asked how long she and "your girl" Samantha "have been going out ... like two years? One year? Five months? Two months?"
After a knowing giggle, Lindsay answered, "A very long time."
Stryker then wished them well, opining, "I hope you guys stay together. You're a very lovely looking couple," which elicited a bubbly "thank you very much" from the actress.
Alas, Lohan's public confirmation will likely prompt yet another tirade from her attention-addicted, load-of-shut-up-needing dad Michael, who seems to have spent a good portion of his weekend crafting a vicious personal attack against the person his issues-dealing daughter has chosen to share her life with.
"There is a lot more to Samantha than meets the eye! Not that what we see is soooo pleasing anyway!" he spewed in a hate-filled e-mail to photo agency X17. "I mean, what's with this ... 'person'??? Look at the way she 'dresses'? Once more, she uses her middle finger more than she uses words! Personally, I think she is dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity!"
And who's not "dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity," according to Papa Lohan, who Lindsay labeled "a public embarrassment and a bully to my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me" in a recent MySpace posting?
Porn-meister Joe Francis, who made his fortune off the alcohol-lowered inhibitions of college girls and once gleefully humiliated a female reporter from the Los Angeles Times assigned to interview him.
Joe, declares Michael, "is a good person."
The born-again jailbird is also convinced that "while I haven't exposed [Samantha], I know that God will. He will weed her out of Lindsay's life and at that time, you will finally see Lindsay back in the place in her heart and mind that God wants and she belongs."
All together, now: "Shut up, Michael."
Lindsay, however, opted for a more in-depth response to her dad's venom. "My father obviously needs to be on medication to control his moods. He is out of line and his words show how much anger he has, and it's dangerous and scary as it reminds me of how he treated my mother and I my whole childhood," she tells the New York Post. "He needs to be stopped. This is yet another reason why we aren't speaking."
She says she's currently "in a great place in life. I have overcome a lot and have been able to learn how to enjoy and appreciate my life in every way possible. I'm proud of myself for being able to make a change in the past year and a half. My past is behind me, and that's final. There's nothing more to be said."
Except this: "All the false accusations that people try to make are simply because there's no story when things are calm and good. But they might as well let it go because their lies don't affect me anymore. Samantha is not evil, I care for her very much and she's a wonderful girl. She loves me, as I do her."

Miley quashes diney leaving rumours

Is the upbeat, tween-friendly Disney hit "Hannah Montana" starting to resemble a soap opera behind the scenes? This week, Miley Cyrus denied rumors that she's looking to ditch the source of her success to concentrate on bigger and better things, but rumblings of on-set scheming and conflict are growing louder.
The latest talk of turmoil comes from the Chicago Sun-Times, which alleges that the starlet -- who at the tender age of 15 really should have less important things to worry about than the fate of a TV empire (think homework and SATs) -- and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, are making things tough for the cast and crew, ostensibly because they want to get fired from the cash-cow series.
"Both Miley and Billy Ray have been exhibiting major attitude," a longtime "Hannah" staffer huffs to the paper. "The rudest thing has been their total lack of consideration for all of us who work on the show."
According to the source, their purported lack of respect has included arriving "horribly late" for rehearsals and tapings and being "incredibly unkind" to other cast members, including co-star Emily Osment.
"Things are so chilly between Emily and Miley, icicles form every time they have to speak to one another," chimes in another production snitch. "It's become increasingly clear Miley has become jealous of Emily's rising profile and popularity."
TMZ says the teens were once close, but now Osment "literally turns away from Miley after each scene." What's more, their dads reportedly had a "screaming match," with Emily's father accusing Billy Ray and Miley of being "unprofessional."
Not so, a Cyrus insider pooh-poohs to People, dismissing the bad-behavior chatter as "a lot of craziness."
"Miley is really devoted to the show and she's really upset by the gossip," explains the confidant. "Miley is never late to work. Every minute of her day is planned out. When she's not shooting the movie or the series, she's recording the ['Hannah Montana'] soundtrack. She has a lot invested in Hannah Montana. It's not going away anytime soon."
The cast and crew are "like a big family," the mole insists to the mag. "Emily and Miley are like sisters. Occasionally they have disagreements, but they make up and they never let it affect their work." Miley, who's recently been spotted hanging out and touching digits with underwear model-cum-singer Justin Gaston, 20, and in need of female friends with a driver's license, is "used to all of the gossip about her personal life," points out the source, "but when people are attacking her professionalism, it upsets her because she works really hard."
The official word from Cyrus is that she couldn't be more thrilled with sporting her alter ego's peroxide wig for the show's third season (Disney, which has an option for a fourth season, seems excited, too: TMZ says it added six more episodes to the 24-episode order).
"I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It's what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people," she said in a statement on Monday (via Us). "I'm really excited about our new season. We are making great new episodes that I can't wait for our fans to see and I'm looking forward to the 'Hannah Montana' movie that will be out in the spring."
The flick hits screens on April 10 (parents, mark your calendars), but it's not Miley's only big-screen production in the works. She's also signed on to star in an upcoming and sure-to-be tear-jerking project from "Notebook" author Nicholas Sparks.

drew barrymore making out with chuck bass

Looks like there's a real life cougar story with our Gossip Girl kids. Drew Barrymore and Ed Westwick were spotted and snapped making out at a Kings of Leon concert in Manhattan last night. Recently single Drew never stays man-free for long and the new InTouch also supposedly has photos of her making out with a Whip It costar. We saw Drew hanging out with the GG cast at the SNL after party over the weekend and apparently she was a bit enamored with resident Romeo Chuck Bass. Considering she's 33 to his 21, the Duchess may be off the show but the older woman and younger man romance is still heating up NYC. What do you think about these two, love it?
